Splayed-Leg Limbert Table

Limbert splayed-leg entryway table/desk in great condition. A versatile and hard-to-find form, with pinned massive splayed legs, wide through-tenon lower bookshelf, and a pullout lidded drawer with the original inkwell. Gracefully curved skirt boards under a one inch thick solid oak top with exceptional quartersawn ray-flake and fine original finish. Measures 42" wide by 26" deep and 29" high, a great size for the entryway or living room corner. This graceful form was featured in the 1995 Limbert exhibition and catalog "Kindred Style". Signed in the drawer with the Limbert brand.
