Rare Ebonized Finish Gustav Stickley High-Back Rocker

Early and exceptional Gustav Stickley high back rocker with slatted sides and rare ebonized finish. Signed on the back stretcher with the 1904 red inkstamp mark, this is a great example of Gustav Stickley's rarely found ebonized finish, well contrasted by new dark red leather cushions. Exceptionally attractive wear patterns on the arms and front stretcher dramatically accent the quartersawn oak ray flake. A particularly attractive and rare example. Measures a large 38" high by 29" wide and 34" deep.
